About our Church
History of St Andrew's
A church by the sea…..In the 19th Century Puerto Pollensa was a small fishing village. Local people worshipped at the Roman Catholic Church. As time passed a few tourists, artists and writers came and made their home here. An Anglican Church was formed on the island: the Parish of St Philips & St James, in Palma. It was consecrated in 1966 and monthly services were held with the outlying villages.
In 1985 St Andrew's was born and in 2013 moved from the Roman Catholic church building to the current place of worship.
Our Heritage
We are an Anglican church, part of the Chaplaincy of Mallorca in the Diocese of Europe. Our services are in English.

Our congregation come from many different denominational backgrounds and traditions all mixed together in a “glorious ecumenical soup”. The main flavour being Anglican. We celebrate the Eucharist most weeks; our worship is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary music.

We have a strong culture of welcome: our congregation is a blend of local residents, regular visitors and those visiting on holiday.
Our Vision
Learning to love one another with the love of Jesus and reaching out to the community where we live.

As a church, we exist to create a place where people can meet Jesus, find community and grow as disciples.
